These photos have been making the rounds. But many are questioning the authenticity of the story. Apparently someone thought it would be cool to paint a scene from the Roadrunner onto the side of a wall, on the road. They thought it was harmless until...

...The Roadrunner did not fall for this evil prank, but the driver of this car certainly did.

After the supposed accident the "fake shortcut" was destroyed. The images come with scant details about where the Road Runner crash happened. The first photo shows the Road Runner and the tunnel intact, with no visible damage, with the crashed red car in the picture. It's very possible that the car already had damage to the front end, and the whole thing was a setup.
